The works of Mireille Robbe are imbued with a quest to understand and represent the complexities of human nature. Inspired by the ideas of Carl Jung, she explores the concept of the image we project and our true identity, seeking to merge these two aspects in her art. This introspective process is reflected in the richness and depth of her creations.
Her work, much like that of the Surrealists, often stems from a recognizable reality that she enriches with her own thoughts and thorough documentation. Mireille uses the language of nature to express human concepts, sublimating natural elements to reveal profound and often hidden truths. De werken van Mireille Robbe zijn doordrenkt van een zoektocht naar het begrip en de representatie van menselijke complexiteiten. Geïnspireerd door de ideeën van Carl Jung, verkent zij het concept van het beeld dat we projecteren en onze ware identiteit, waarbij ze probeert deze twee aspecten in haar kunst te verenigen.
